  • Monitor the condition of appliances and equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions or hazards. Keep the Home Manager informed of maintenance actions taken.
  • Champion a culture of safety among colleagues.
  • Design diverse menus tailored to accommodate specialised dietary requirements, ensuring inclusivity and satisfaction among residents or guests.
  • Maintain meticulous records of food and delivery temperatures, adhering to company policies for routine inspections and checks.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is well-maintained and promptly replaced if necessary, facilitating smooth culinary operations.
  • Oversee the ordering, receiving, and verification of all deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality in procurement.
  • Demonstrate reliability and enthusiasm in fulfilling culinary responsibilities, displaying a genuine passion for cooking and a proactive attitude towards work.
