Social events

Monthly bistro theme evenings 5-8pm with food based themes from Burns Supper to Spanish Tapas 3 courses for £12. Auchlochan community events (ACE residents organised) Quiz evenings, musical events, birdwatching afternoons and food. Wellbeing events include pet therapy, games, films and musical events.

Clubs and groups

Weekly groups include sewing and crafts, short mat bowls, mixed voice choir, prayer group, art group, men’s group, scrabble group, knitting and natter group, croquet (seasonal). Monthly gardening club (March to Sept).

Classes

Weekly classes to join in with are Tai Chi, Yoga, line dancing and ceilidh dancing.

Village bus Mon - Sat

The village bus makes 4 trips per week in the morning to Lesmahagow and Tesco. It also visits Lanark once and Hamilton twice a week in the afternoons. Both Wednesday and Saturday are full day outings to various interesting locations further afield and Sunday there is no service.

Church services

Weekly prayer meetings are held in the Village on Tuesdays.  Sunday afternoon services, with a variety of speakers, are held in the Douglas Suite every Sunday at 3pm.
